Our Funders

Involve CLG, receives funding directly from the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth for the running of its head office operations. In addition to this, Involve Youth Services receives additional funding for the operation of its individual Youth Centres through funding sourced from ETB’s (Mayo Sligo Leitrim ETB, Louth Meath ETB, Donegal ETB and Galway Roscommon ETB) regional to the centres. 

Funding for salaries associated with the Travellers’ Voice Magazine is granted by the Department of Rural and Community Development through the Pobal Initiative via its Community Service Programme stream. Funding for the Travellers’ Voice Magazine and employability project is also provided by the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform. 

Funding is also made available for the development and upkeep of the Involve and Travellers’ Voice Magazine websites, this funding is granted by the National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI). 

On occasion for specific cross country exchange programmes, funding is also provided by Leargus for training and cultural purposes. 

During the year of 2020, Involve also received special grants and funding from the following bodies:

These funding streams are subject to the requirements set out within the respective funding applications and agreed by our funders. 

In addition to the above restricted funds, Involve also receives income from the sales of the Travellers’ Voice Magazine, fundraising, additional services and donations.
