Involve Youth Project Meath

About Us

Involve recognises the equality of the Traveller Community by providing programmes, initiatives and services that promote the participation and inclusion of the Traveller Community in Irish Society. Involve Youth Project Meath operates a youth service in Co. Meath in the towns of Navan and Trim, providing culturally appropriate activities and programmes for young people aged 10 to 20 years of age from the Traveller Community. We operate 15 groups weekly over evenings and weekends, connecting with more than 80 young people from the Traveller Community each week. These programmes include; culture, European youth exchanges, arts and crafts, sports, healthy eating, health and wellbeing etc. We also provide supports for young people in the NEET (Not in Education Employment or Training) category.

Covid-19 Information

We are providing interactive #stayathome packs where young people can engage with virtual group activities and youth workers. We are also have a designated youth worker available on-line 10am to 9pm Monday to Friday, along with daily challenges and homework support we are still keeping the young  people feeling supported and busy with activities.
